Well I wish my mom was here because she was actually diagnosed with Stage 4 in her 30s and shes walking now. So and I was diagnosed at 34 so the fact that she had to go through what she had to through so young just made me have to go starting getting mammograms at 30. And they actually caught it really early. So I just had a bilateral mastectomy and then these fantastic people gave me new boobies. So they put them back where they belonged.And now Ive got two daughters and two little sisters and we all get our mammograms and the kids are you know. When theyre 30, theyre going to get their first one and its all about catching it early. So Im a survivor story because I had my first mammogram at 30 and they were able to catch it so early.Its a pity that my mom had to go — she was Stage 4 in her 30s. She had to go through everything that she went through. And chemo in the 80s, not that it a walking in the park now. I mean its horrible, horrible but back then, I just remember her being so, so, so sick. And I knew that wasnt — I didnt want to do that and so weve all been proactive.So now, weve got two survivor stories. The technology these days is fantastic and there are so many options and there are so many great options. And theres a lot of support and a lot of people to lean on. I mean just like this event her. Youre not alone and we can all get through it and well find the care. Im a survivor.
